Russian Imperialism Will Die, Belarus will prevail E-mail
Wednesday, 17 January 2007
Dear youth! I sincerely support your protest of anti-Belarusan politics of Russia and your courage to oppose the pro-Moscow regime prevailing in Belarus. During twelve years of the pro-Moscow regime, A. Lukashenka was destroying our culture, language, and education; and by putting himself down under Russian officials, he deliberately pegged our economics and trade to those of a single country of Russia. There has been a crime committed against our nation. Russia is trying to use such a crime of Lukashenka to destroy our economy and consequently take over Belarus, masking it with a noble idea of creating a new state to expand the dominance of the existing Russian KGB rule (by means of new elections in a new part of the empire).

Russia expresses rude political aggression against our country. Russia broke the principals of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, signed by Russia, Great Britain, Belarus, and the United States, which guaranteed Belarus its sovereignty after our country’s voluntary rejection to use nuclear weapons.

However, it is still a reality to defend freedom and independence of Belarus, and only true Belarusans can fight against the aggression. Our Motherland’s will and freedom depend on us first. And when the threat to such national values arises, we need to utilize all possibilities to fight back the empire of evil to win over the danger.

Let’s feel our strength and solidarity! Notice that pro-Moscow regime is vulnerable to people’s realization of their worthiness, strength, and solidarity of Belarusan youth. That’s why Lukashenka makes it so hard for students to study and work, that’ why he puts in jail Belarusan youth without any lawful reason, like he did it to Zmiter Dashkevich. He sends young people for prison works, threatens and disrespects them. However, those who were taunting Dashkevich, will face responsibility for their deeds.

We shall not be afraid of those, who are afraid of us. Let’s strengthen and unite our forces! Let’s respect our great and beautiful Belarusan language and our mighty Belarusan nation! Lets’ remember our impressive history and strength of our Grand Duchy! Let the pride for the predecessors who never bent down in front of anyone (not like Moscow people bent down in front of Algerd, or Moscow itself fell in front of Mongols) impress our youth.

All of us, Belarusan people, have to defend our Motherland Belarus and our will. And let it be so.

Long live Belarus!

Glory to the heroes!
