It’s a quotation from the famous Internet wikipedia. But for the real fans who never miss  matches of their favorite teams, who watch closely the successes and failures of the national teams it is not just “any of a family of sports”, it is a thrilling game and first of all their life.

A new website about hockey will not surprise anybody in Europe or in the United States. The Belarusian got the opportunity to visit a website about hockey in the Belarusian language not so long ago. It is a project “Hockey. BY –World Hockey Belarusian Style” (www.hockeyby.org ).

The website was made with the help of the Belarusian Youth Movement of America (www.belmov.org). And now everyone who is interested in hockey and is an Internet user can find the news from the strongest world hockey leagues including Belarus, the results of the current championships in Moscow and Mytischi.

The administration of the new site promises a calendar of all hockey events and world hockey honor roll in the nearest future. The site has a working FORUM and interactive vote; you can also join and became a regular visitor. 

The site is young and there are certain problems while registration the users who have their e-mail boxes in domain tut.by. The answers from the server are blocked. Now the administration of the www.hockeyby.org tries to find a way out, meanwhile the users are recommended to use their other e-mails.

The Belarusian Youth Movement of America is proud of the first Belarusian website about hockey and believes it is a considerable event of the Belarusian revival and very important for the upbringing of the Belarusian Youth.
