November 27th marks the 91th Anniversary of the Slucak Uprising, an anti-Bolshevik uprising originating in the Slucak Region of Belarus in defense of the Belarusan National Republic (BNR).  

On Decembe 4, 2011 we will pay tribute to the brave, fallen heroes of the Slucak Uprising who entered into armed resistance to protect the Belarusan Nation against a brutal enemy and a terrible fate

You and your friends are invited to participate in the following program commemorating this historic event:

Sunday, December 4th

10:00AM---- Divine Liturgy and Paniehida Service in memory of the fallen heroes of the Slucak Uprising at  St. Mary of Zyrovicy Belarusan Autocephalic Orthodox Church, 9  River Road, Highland Park, NJ. 

12:30PM--- Buffet Luncheon and Commemorative Program Featuring a Film on the Slucak Uprising and Art Exhibit of Belarusan Artists.

Immediately following church services, members of the Belarusan American Association and the Belarusan Youth Movement of America will jointly participate  in a solemn wreath laying ceremony at the Belarusan War Hero’s Monument, in St. Mary of Zyrovicy Cemetery in East Brunswick, NJ.
