We invite you to spend a weekend camping out and celebrating the beautiful tradition of KUPALLE. Bring your family and friends for this magnificent ritual of love, romance and magic.

Sports and games (we welcome ideas and equipment) Cooking and camping out (bring your food, grills will be hot) Overnight stay in shelters and tents.
What to pack with you: - Belarusian costumes / symbolic clothing / long light pants for guys and long skirts for girls for the actual celebration (no shorts at Kupalle night, please). - Any comfortable camping clothes for the rest of the weekend. - Enough food and drinks for your stay (there will be hot grills to cook on). - Sleeping bags and pillows if you or your children plan to sleep. - Shelters are available and can host up to 8 people each, but you can bring TENTS. - Personal hygiene products. There are no showers in the park. - Bug repellent. - Any games and sport/camping equipment. - Cameras. $8 parking fee per car (not per person) if arriving before 5 PM (free parking after 5 PM ). We will provide the wood for the fire and charcoal for the grills, as well as drinking water Please note that our campsite capacity is limited to 40 people and reinforced by the Park rangers. We strongly encourage you to send us your registration forms early. TRANSPORTATION AND DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO KUPALLE Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River , NY 10518 Public transportation from NYC Take a train from Grand Central Station to Katonah (Metro North, Harlem Line). Refer to the Harlem Line schedule to Katonah station. The train ride is approximately an hour. If you need us to pick you up from the train at the Katonah Station, call us ahead of time. Driving directions: The Reservation entrance is near the junction of Routes 35 and 121 South in Cross River , NY . The park is accessible from Hutchinson , Bronx River , Sprain Brook and Saw Mill River Parkways, as well as Routes I-684, I-287 and 22. From Brooklyn – Queens Cross Whitestone Bridge North Merge into Hutchinson River Parkway North Take the exit to Route I-684 North (left exit) Take exit 6 to Route 35 / Cross River Road At the exit ramp make a right onto Route 35 east to Cross River Take Route 35 east down for 3.6 miles and make a right onto Route 121 South Take your first left to get to the Ward Pound Reservation From Manhattan and New Jersey Take Route I-87 / Deegan Expressway North Take the exit to Saw Mill River Parkway North Saw Mill River Parkway ends at Route I-684 North Once on I-684 North, take exit 6 to Route 35 / Cross River Road At the exit ramp make a right onto Route 35 east to Cross River Take Route 35 east down for 3.6 miles and make a right onto Route 121 South Take your first left to get to the Ward Pound Reservation We have four Shelters # 1, 2, 3 and 4 reserved under the name of Ryzy. Once in the park, look for us there. You can park by the shelters. We have several free parking permits available to give away on first come – first serve basis. Let us know in advance if you are coming by car before 5 PM to avoid $8 parking fee. No parking fee is required after 5 PM . If you are coming by train, we can pick you up from the train station. The site is ours from 11 AM Saturday through 11 AM Monday, so let’s make the most of it! The actual Kupalle should begin about an hour before the dusk on Saturday and last throughout the night.
