St. Cyril of Turau Cathedral and the Belarusian Museum cordially invite everyone to the Belarusian Festival that will be held on Sunday, October 5th, 2008 and will start after the Holiday Liturgy. The liturgy starts at 10 a.m. The event will feature a well-known laureate of international contests Valancina Parhomenka and a folk group of the Kazaks.
Program: - Treat.
- Exhibition by Belarusian artist Uladzimir Novak
- Exhibition of homemade goods.
- Ethnic music: songs and dancing.
- Lottery.
- Demonstration of the Belarusian video films.
As well in front of the cathedral you will have an opportunity to buy Belarusian ethnic food and souvenirs. Take subway trains B, Q, 2, 3, 4, 5 to Atlantic Ave; or D, M, R, N to Atlantic Ave – Pacific Str; or A, C, G to Hoyt-Schermerhorn Str.
