On Sunday, July 13 in New York there will be a March of the Cative Nations. It is held annually since 1959 in order to draw the society’s attention to the problems of the downtrodden people, who suffered and are suffering from the dictatorial and totalitarian governments or under a foreign rule.
Belarusian Youth Movement of America is calling to all Belarusians in the USA to take part in this action so as to raise your voice against imposed by Moscow on Belarus dictatorial regime of Lukashenko, and to show the will of people to fight for democracy and real independence of the Mother country, and to draw American society’s attention to the problem of Belarus.
The participants will meet at 9:00am in Manhattan near Plaza Hotel at the 59th street and Fifth Avenue; At 10:00 am – a mass for the downtrodden people in the St. Patrick Cathedral; Аt 11:00 am – the March of the downtrodden people along the Fifth Avenue up to the 72nd str.; Аt 12:00 am – the official opening of the week of the downtrodden people.
