About 35 people from NY, NJ, Maine and other states of the USA took part in the demonstration.

Zyanon Paznyak,the leader of the Conservative Christian Party of the Belarusian Popular Front spoke at the demonstration and told its participants about the 1986 tragedy and its consequences, he reminded about the current situation in Belarus and appealed to the youth for active struggle against the regime.

Friends of the Belarusian Movement of America related about its activities and how it is possible to help Belarus by common efforts.
