Dear friends Belarusans! Happy Independence Day! Dear friends Belarusans! Happy Independence Day! It's a great national holiday!90 years have passed from the time when The Rada of Belarusan National Republic proclaimed the independence of Belarus in March 25, 1918. But our independence existed just for a short time. Belarus was occupied by communistic horde of Soviet Russia in January 1918. Bolsheviks formed a buffer fake state on a new occupied area and named it Belorussian Soviet Social Republic (BSSR). They ruined belarusan language, culture, using the power they got. Two millions people were killed; thousands were taken out and been let rot in Siberian death camps. Moscow took away plough-lands from belarusan farmers and turned those people to farmer-prisoners. Moscow killed, eradicated belarusan working people, shot writers, scientists and damaged our nation mortally. Russian communism which was established in Belarus as a form of Russian imperialism was trying to kill belarusan nation and turn belarusan people to soviet nation by extirpating our language by wiping out our belarusan schools and education by destruction belarusan culture by liquidating of religion by falsification history by demographic manipulations and by using colonial economy. Treasons that were made by communists during 73 years are crime against humanity. Executors and their communist continuators should be judged and inflicted to fair punishment. Some people thought that Russian communism and colonial politics will exist forever in Belarus. But time came and Bolshevik's Reich fell as a pyramid of earthenware pots. People who wanted to revival Belarusan Independence united under Belarusan Popular Front. They and active deputies of Belarusant Popular Front hoisted saint Belarusan white-red-white flag. This is a symbol of Freedom and Independence. As a result of communist's putsch in Moscow Belarus got its independence back in August 25, 1991. It happened also because Declaration of the Sovereignty of Belarus was accepted as Constitution Law. The Declaration was prepared and wined over by deputies of Belarusan Front. It was a possible time for democratic and independent life in Belarus. August 25, 1991 is a great date of our national history as March, 25 1918. But our forces were not equal. The nation was not recovered and consolidated yet, was not restored from soviet extirpation. That is why occupation came back. Pro Moscow regime came back as a restoration of soviet empire in Belarus. It will end soon. Time is coming. The values which we are fighting for will come again. Our independent and democratic Belarus will rise. Great Kingdom of Lithuania will be a base for such recreation. Nobody will turn our history back. Let’s celebrate our great holiday, our great anniversary and try to bring closer a great time of independent Belarus!!!
