Day of Solidarity with Belarus in Washington, September 16 |

September 16, Washington affiliate of Belarusan Youth Movement of America has taken part in the action of solidarity with political prisoners and missing politicians of Belarus. It was on September 16, 1999 that a well-known Belarusan opposition politician Victor Gonchar and a businessman Anatoly Krasovski vanished without a trace. But they are not forgotten.
About 15 representatives of the different organizations as well as friends and families of those who have gone missing, and all those fighting for freedom and democracy in Belarus have gathered in front of the building of the Belarusan embassy to show their support and solidarity to political prisoners in Belarus.Ля будынку Беларускага пасольства сабралася каля 15 прадстаўнiкоў розных арганiзацый, каб выказаць салідарнасьць з сем'ямі зьніклых беларускіх апазыцыянэраў. Салідарнасьць з палітычнымі зьняволенымі, якія адплацілі свабодай за сваю сьмеласьць. Салідарнасьць памяці тых змагароў за свабоду, праўду пра загадкавыя абставіны сьмерці якіх мы даведаемся толькі калі наступяць іншыя часы.
